Finally, there's a good use for our collective negative attitude.

Not the kind of innovation Ray Ivany had in mind.

Along with cat GIFS and live-tweeting award shows, outrage is the internet’s gasoline. It’s no exception locally, as Haligonians on both sides of the harbour love to hate-type about a flurry of resentments (like how no one remembers Dartmouth).

This wrathful whirlpool often consumes everyone’s timelines, leaving no room to avoid intricate discussions on whether Brindi is a good dog. Thankfully, there’s now a way to channel all those angry discussions into a charming game of bingo.

The Halifax Twitter Outrage Bingo list was assembled and subsequently indexed in bingo card form by Twitter user @Hooberbloob. It features a familiar cornucopia of topics local tweeters often have strong opinions about.

Since the start of 2016 alone we’ve had firefighter staffing, Toronto noticing us, buses being too late and too early, bad driving, Brindi, “Halifax” in Dartmouth, NS Power, film jobs and snow clearing (off the top of my head).

Even the city, who hears more than a few of these complaints every day, is into the bingo game.

Those confused about the Vince Hall free space may want to familiarize themselves with the “controversialCape Breton councillor, who ran for mayor in HRM last election. Hall tends to be an outspoken municipal voice—like that time in December when he told Tim Outhit to “shower all that fucking filth off or [sic] you” and seemingly challenged the Bedford councillor to a fist fight.

What do you think is missing from the card? “Freak Lunchbox mural,” “condo developments” and “visiting celebrity” come immediately to mind. Let us know your suggestions for Halifax Twitter Outrage bingo—or maybe how to run a Twitter Outrage Chase the Ace—in the comments.
