Summery tradition in Antigonish

Paul Green, principal and designer of calmunity.ca, and freelance writer, editor, dance instructor and enterpreneur Abena Amoako Green were brought together by Abena’s mother---in that adorable way that only a mom can play matchmaker. It only makes sense then, that family should play a similarly important role in their wedding. With a mind to having their family be as comfortable as possible, the couple planned the guest accommodations, wedding venue and reception all within walking distance at Coady Gardens on the St. Francis Xavier University campus, where Abena studied. Bright colours, a festive, summery atmosphere, great music and traditional Ghanaian and Jamaican dishes made the day unique, but Paul and Abena say their trust in great friends, family and god made it a beautiful day to remember.
