Some things never change and the fanbase for Oxford and Quinpool’s cozy little sushi joint is one of them. Winning this award pretty much every year since it opened—seven in a row—student favourite Wasabi House locks it down again thanks to its quick and friendly service and happy hour pricing every evening, 9 to 11pm. With a near-nightly line fogging up its front entrance, it’s a brilliant play that the restaurant offers 10 percent off if you pick up your order. It’s that kind of thoughtful customer service (see also, bonus rolls) that we’ll call the icing on the cake—or, spicy mayo on the tuna roll.
