Formerly called Coburg Coffee, Coburg Social has since taken a step up from coffeehouse status. It still has all the factors that have made it a go-to spot for years: Open mic nights, great caffeinated bevs, study space and avocado toast. Now, though, it has a happy hour and a new evening menu. All this, combined with its proximity to Dalhousie University and University of King’s College, make it the prime choice for campus-adjacent grub. It’s somewhere to catch up with friends or bring your laptop to get that essay done (no, they won’t kick you out for using the wifi).
