Chester native Amanda Riley is chasing the big time, recording her latest EP Whiskey Kisses in Nashville—where she won Female Vocalist of the Year at the indie-country Josie Awards in September—and releasing it in August. You’ve noticed her hard work, handing her Country gold. She showcases this weekend at Nova Scotia Music Week. “This past year has been my busiest and most exciting year musically,” says Riley. “I am so thankful to everyone who has supported and encouraged me through each opportunity that has presented itself. My plan is to continue doing what I love, making country music and having a blast while doing it!”
