It’s no surprise that Ellen Page was voted the best Halifamous person–she’s surpassed Halifame to real Hollywood stardom, appearing in major films like Juno, Inception and X-Men: Days of Future Past. Though the New York Times slammed Halifax as “about as far as you can get (geographically, historically and spiritually) from Hollywood,” in an article about Page’s successes, the Oscar nominee is proud of her humble beginnings as a Haligonian, Shambhala School grad and two-time Coast cover star.
