Taz’s new location on Grafton Street hasn’t lost any of the charm of the old space—granted it’s just around the corner, but still, it goes to show that a record store is only as good as its stock and its staff. If you haven’t done it before, I highly recommend bringing a newcomer to the store, just to see how their face will light up. Taz boasts over 35,000 LPs, 10,000 CDs and 30,000 seven-inch singles in every musical taste from hip-hop, punk, jazz, classical—you name it. It’s a music lover’s dream in a time when music shops are all too far and few between, but after all, quality is what matters over quantity.
