Sure, the boardwalk is prime tourist real estate, home of docking cruise ships, Cows ice cream and Americans who aren’t sure where they are, but Coast readers alike have a soft spot for the waterfront walk and the sweet sweet smell of harbour water. There’s nothing that says “budding romance” like cruising along the boardwalk taking in the various summer festivals, perusing the kitschy retail wares, splitting a croissant at Two If By Sea and getting a caricature of yourselves that makes you wonder whether your nose actually looks that big.
