As the number of live music venues in half seems to shrink, so to does the legend of the Seahorse Tavern grow. In the past year the basement bar has seen great shows by Sheepdogs, Dog Day, Hind Legs, Plants and Animals, Carmen Townsend, Dan Mangan, even soprano Measha Brueggergosman, with Alert The Medic, Gloryhound, Cuff the Duke and Three Sheet coming soon. And given the many hook-ups precipitated on that dancefloor, maybe it’s love potion dripping down from that leaky pipe just in front of the stage.
