Part of the enjoyment for women of getting a manicure or pedicure at Remedy is the social opportunity. "We have an open concept spot," says manager Nicola Hancock. "We can book up to four at a time. People make friends and get into a big conversation. It's a really good time." And guys do it, too, though some do request a private room because they're a little shy. "There's one gentleman who comes in with his 6-year-old daughter, they get them together."
