Hello, Goodbye

Singer-songwriter Dana Beeler releases her new collection of coy confessions, The Long Goodbye

Damn, Dana Beeler

If you take a peek at Dana Beeler's blog, you'll see she's full of truths and isn't afraid to share them. With the release of her new record, The Long Goodbye, on her mind she's been revealing the stories behind her songs weekly since September, giving readers just a little insight to the experiences she's singing about. "Things are exaggerated, truths are stretched. I'm drawing from experience or from an idea, but I'm not a sad person who goes around getting her heart broken all the time," says Beeler. Even though her blog, and her songs, are confessions of getting over people and experiences and narrative reflections on the last few years of her life, Beeler's no sad sack; her country-tinged songs are laced with sarcasm and modesty. "I'm just an average girl, doing average girl things, who just so happens to feel a lot," she says.
