Cuff The Duke

Morning Comes (Paper Bag)

On the first half of a two-parter, alt-country band Cuff the Duke explores loss. Opener “Time is Right” lets listeners in on the process of losing someone. No matter how dark the night, Morning Comes. Produced by Greg Keelor, the album translates isolation, confusion and loneliness into sound. Wayne Petti’s voice rings with catharsis and comfort on “Count On Me.” Nearly eight minutes long, “Bound to Your Own Vices” faces the music---life follows death, death follows life. It’s an epic testament of transition. “Letting Go” does just that: The send-off song makes room for a new beginning.
