It’s no great secret that Haligonians like to party on a Vengaboys-style level, and with our famous bars per capita rep it’s hard to decide just where to stop the Vengabus. That’s what Coast readers are for, and this year they are leading the conga-line straight to The Lower Deck. “No one fails to have a good time here,” says one voter, and with three levels of fun from the low-key downstairs pub to the second-level Beer Market dance floor to the private party Tap Room---the key is knowing when to level up. Owner Mike Condy says the bounce from bronze in 2011 to gold this year is all due to “keeping it consistent with the best live entertainment seven days a week” and judging by our readers, we’d say that’s a good level to stay at.
