Halifax’s favourite street style blog, Fashion East, is coming up on its first birthday in November, and they’re celebrating by hosting a big ol’ party at Lost and Found. Meghan Tansey Whitton, Krista Comeau and Melissa Dubé, the team behind the blog, say in the past year they’ve evolved from posting their own images to adding some interactive elements on the blog, like “Submission Saturdays and Sundays,” where readers can submit their own photos of stylin’ Haligonians. “It’s been such a fun, creative experience for the three of us to collaborate on this blog together,” Comeau says. The Fashion East crew is also blown away by how well they’ve been received in the city. “There’s such an eclectic mix of fashion and inspiration from the people of Halifax,” says Comeau, “and we’re proud to show off our city on the blog.”
